Khaanzaa Service LLC has been operating since 2017 under a valid license for municipal water supply and sewerage services. The company commenced its activities with the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, installation of wells and pipeline networks, testing and commissioning of water supply and sewerage equipment, and the transportation of wastewater using specialized vehicles.
Over the years, Khaanzaa Service has expanded both its operational capacity and service scope. The company currently employs approximately 750 personnel and delivers engineering, operational, and support services to mining, industrial, and municipal clients.
Services Delivered under Oyu Tolgoi Contract
Under a service agreement with Oyu Tolgoi LLC, Khaanzaa Service has been providing continuous services for the past eight years. The scope of work includes:
Operation and maintenance of domestic wastewater treatment plants
Underground waste management, cleaning, housekeeping, sanitation, and disinfection services
Fuel distribution and lubrication services for underground mining vehicles
Underground logistics, including muck transportation
Electrical connection and maintenance works at the Concentrator Complex
Construction, improvement, and maintenance works within the Oyu Tolgoi mine site under licensed construction permits
All services are performed in compliance with site-specific safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
Other Projects
In addition to its work at Oyu Tolgoi, Khaanzaa Service provides operation and maintenance services for domestic wastewater treatment plants serving camp facilities located in Tsogttsetsii and Tsagaan Khad soums, Umnugovi Province.

Khaanzaa Service commenced major service delivery at the Oyu Tolgoi mine, providing operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, underground hygiene and waste segregation services, sewerage system improvement projects, and a range of infrastructure-related construction works in support of site development and operational requirements.
Capacity Expansion & Advanced Infrastructure
Major infrastructure and treatment capacity upgrades were delivered, including wastewater treatment plant capacity expansions, water department workshop construction, environmental protection and pollution prevention projects, and continued underground logistics and operational services.
Expansion of Service Scope:
The company expanded its technical capabilities to include construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, installation of system networks, and supply of water and sewerage equipment under construction and urban development permits.
Environmental & Process Facility Projects
Delivery of specialized environmental and infrastructure projects, including sludge drying facilities for wastewater treatment plants, waste sorting plant modifications, heating and water supply piping improvement projects, and tailings and environmental protection-related works.

Khaanzaa Service LLC was established and began operations under national licenses for water supply and sewerage services. Initial activities focused on wastewater treatment plant operation and maintenance, pipeline installation, equipment testing and commissioning, and wastewater transportation using specialized vehicles.
